What is it used for?
Used on the skin to treat fungal infections that are associated with redness, itching or inflammation. Use only as advised by a doctor, as the steroid component can mask or worsen some fungal infections if used incorrectly.

How does it work?
Clotrimazole stops the growth of fungi. Beclomethasone reduces redness, swelling and itching caused by skin inflammation.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry affected skin as directed by the doctor or pharmacist. Wash hands before and after use, unless the hands are being treated. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas.

Common side effects
Mild burning, stinging, irritation, dryness or redness at the application site. Prolonged or inappropriate use may cause skin thinning, stretch marks or changes in skin colour.

Precautions
Do not use on the face, groin, skin folds, broken skin or large areas unless specifically advised. Avoid covering the area tightly unless directed. Do not use for longer than recommended. Seek medical advice if the infection worsens, spreads or does not improve. Consult a doctor before use in children, during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
