What is it used for?
Used for bacterial eye infections accompanied by inflammation, such as bacterial conjunctivitis, when prescribed by a doctor.

How does it work?
Ciprofloxacin kills susceptible bacteria causing the infection. Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that reduces redness, swelling and inflammation.

How to take/use it
Use in the affected eye(s) exactly as prescribed. Wash hands before use and avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or other surfaces. Do not wear contact lenses during treatment unless advised by a doctor.

Common side effects
Temporary burning, stinging, irritation, blurred vision or discomfort after application. These effects are usually short-lived.

Precautions
Use only under medical advice, as steroid-containing eye medicines may worsen some viral or fungal infections and may increase eye pressure or delay healing if used for too long. Seek medical advice if symptoms worsen, vision changes, severe pain or swelling develops, or there is no improvement. Do not use if the solution is contaminated or the seal is damaged.
