What is it used for?
Flavoured condoms are used during sexual activity to help prevent pregnancy and reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV. They do not provide complete protection.

How does it work?
The condom forms a physical barrier that helps prevent semen from entering the vagina and reduces contact with infected body fluids and genital areas.

How to take/use it
Use a new condom before any sexual contact. Check that the packet is sealed and within its expiry date. Carefully open it, place it on the erect penis with the rolled rim outside, pinch the tip to remove air, and unroll it fully. After ejaculation, hold the base while withdrawing, remove carefully, tie or wrap it, and throw it in a bin. Use only once and follow the pack instructions.

Common side effects
Some people may experience skin irritation, itching or discomfort. Allergic reactions, including to latex or flavouring ingredients, can occur.

Precautions
Do not use if the packet is damaged or the condom is torn, dry or expired. Do not use oil-based lubricants with latex condoms; use a water- or silicone-based lubricant instead. Stop using it if irritation or an allergic reaction occurs. Condoms can break or slip and do not completely prevent pregnancy or STIs. Do not use two condoms together or reuse a condom.
