What is it used for?
Used on the skin to reduce redness, swelling, itching and thick, scaly patches in inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema, as prescribed by a doctor.

How does it work?
Clobetasol is a strong corticosteroid that reduces skin inflammation and itching. Salicylic acid helps soften and remove thick, scaly skin so the medicine can work more effectively.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected skin exactly as prescribed. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas. Wash hands after applying unless the hands are being treated. Do not cover the area with a bandage or dressing unless advised by a doctor.

Common side effects
Burning, stinging, itching, irritation, dryness or redness at the application site. Prolonged or excessive use may cause skin thinning, stretch marks or changes in skin colour.

Precautions
Use only on the affected skin and only for the period advised by a doctor. Avoid using it on the face, groin, underarms, skin folds, broken skin or infected skin unless specifically prescribed. Do not use for untreated fungal, bacterial or viral skin infections. Seek medical advice if the condition worsens, spreads or does not improve.
