Closilver Gm Cream (15Gm (20)) Clobetasol 0.05% W/W Miconazole 2% W/W Neomycin 0.5% W/W by RPG

What is it used for?
Used for certain inflamed fungal skin infections, especially when a bacterial infection may also be present. It helps relieve redness, swelling and itching, but should be used only when prescribed because clobetasol is a very strong steroid.

How does it work?
Miconazole treats fungal infection and neomycin acts against certain bacteria. Clobetasol reduces skin inflammation, redness and itching.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer as directed by the doctor. Wash hands before and after use, unless the hands are being treated. Do not cover the area with a bandage unless advised.

Common side effects
Mild burning, stinging, irritation, dryness or redness at the application site. Prolonged or inappropriate use may cause skin thinning, stretch marks, colour changes or increased hair growth.

Precautions
Use only on the affected skin and for the prescribed period. Avoid the eyes, mouth, face, broken skin and sensitive skin-fold areas unless specifically advised. Do not use for untreated viral skin infections or without medical advice. Stop using it and seek medical help if the rash worsens, spreads, or signs of a serious allergic reaction occur. Neomycin may cause skin allergy in some people.
