What is it used for?
Used on the skin to treat fungal infections that are also causing inflammation, redness, itching or irritation. It should be used only when recommended by a doctor or pharmacist, as the steroid component can mask or worsen some infections.

How does it work?
Clotrimazole stops the growth of fungi. Beclomethasone reduces inflammation, redness and itching in the affected skin.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry, affected skin exactly as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. Wash hands before and after use, unless the hands are being treated. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas. Do not cover the area tightly unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Common side effects
Mild burning, stinging, itching, redness or irritation at the application site. Prolonged or inappropriate use may cause skin thinning, colour changes or stretch marks.

Precautions
Use only on the affected skin and do not use it for longer than recommended. Avoid self-treatment of undiagnosed rashes, and seek medical advice if the infection spreads, worsens or does not improve. Do not apply to broken skin, the face, groin or skin folds unless specifically advised. Stop use and seek medical help for severe irritation or an allergic reaction.
