Clearvas F-10 Tab (10x15) Rosuvastatin 10mg + Fenofibrate 160mg by Aristo

What is it used for?
This medicine is used with diet and exercise to manage high cholesterol and high triglyceride levels, especially mixed dyslipidaemia. It may be prescribed when both LDL cholesterol and triglycerides need to be reduced.

How does it work?
Rosuvastatin reduces the liver’s production of cholesterol and lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol. Fenofibrate helps reduce triglycerides and may increase HDL (good) cholesterol.

How to take/use it
Take it by mouth exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Do not change the dose or stop treatment without medical advice. Regular cholesterol, liver and kidney tests may be recommended.

Common side effects
Headache, nausea, indigestion or stomach pain, diarrhoea, and muscle aches may occur. Mild increases in liver enzymes can also occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about liver or kidney disease, gallbladder problems, thyroid problems, heavy alcohol use, or any history of muscle problems with cholesterol medicines. The combination can rarely cause serious muscle damage; seek medical help for severe or unexplained muscle pain, weakness, fever, or dark urine. Seek medical advice for yellowing of the skin or eyes or severe stomach pain. It is generally avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Tell the doctor about all other medicines, especially blood thinners or other cholesterol-lowering medicines.
