What is it used for?
This syrup is used to relieve dry, irritating cough associated with colds or allergies. It may also help reduce allergy-related symptoms such as a runny nose and sneezing.

How does it work?
Dextromethorphan reduces the cough reflex. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that helps relieve allergy symptoms such as runny nose and sneezing.

How to take/use it
Take by mouth exactly as directed on the label or by a doctor. Use the measuring device provided and do not exceed the recommended amount. Do not combine with other cough, cold or allergy medicines unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea or stomach upset may occur.

Precautions
This medicine may cause drowsiness; avoid driving, operating machinery and alcohol until its effects are known. Seek medical advice before use if taking antidepressants or monoamine oxidase inhibitors, or if there is glaucoma, difficulty urinating or prostate enlargement. Consult a doctor for children, during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Seek medical help for breathing difficulty, severe dizziness, confusion or a cough that persists or worsens.
