What is it used for?
Used for temporary relief of dry cough and cold- or allergy-related symptoms such as a runny nose and sneezing.

How does it work?
Dextromethorphan reduces the urge to cough. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that helps relieve symptoms such as a runny nose and sneezing.

How to take/use it
Take by mouth exactly as directed on the product label or by a doctor. Use the measuring device provided. Do not take more than recommended or use it for longer than advised.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea or stomach discomfort.

Precautions
May cause drowsiness; avoid driving and alcohol until its effects are known. Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitor medicines, and check with a doctor or pharmacist before using it with antidepressants or other cough, cold or antihistamine medicines. Seek medical advice for breathing difficulty, persistent or worsening cough, or a cough with significant phlegm. Use in children only as directed by a healthcare professional.
