What is it used for?
Used for temporary relief of cough, blocked nose, runny nose and sneezing associated with the common cold.

How does it work?
Chlorpheniramine reduces allergy-like symptoms such as runny nose and sneezing. Dextromethorphan helps reduce coughing, while phenylephrine relieves nasal blockage by narrowing swollen blood vessels in the nose.

How to take/use it
Take only as directed on the product label or by a doctor or pharmacist. Swallow the softgel whole. Do not take more than recommended or combine it with other cough-and-cold medicines unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, nervousness, headache, increased blood pressure or a fast heartbeat may occur.

Precautions
Avoid alcohol and driving or operating machinery if drowsy or dizzy. Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitor medicines or within 14 days of stopping them. Seek medical advice before use if there is high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma, thyroid disease, difficulty passing urine or an enlarged prostate. Consult a doctor during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Seek medical help for breathing difficulty or a persistent or worsening cough.
