Cenitra OC (15gm) Itraconazole 1.00% w/w, Ofloxacin 0.75% w/w, Ornidazole 2.00% w/w & Clobetasol Propionate 0.05% w/w by Csc

What is it used for?
This combination is generally prescribed for certain mixed skin infections involving fungal and bacterial germs, especially when redness, itching and inflammation are present. Use it only when recommended by a doctor, as the steroid component may worsen some infections if used incorrectly.

How does it work?
Itraconazole fights fungi, while ofloxacin and ornidazole act against susceptible bacteria and other germs. Clobetasol reduces skin inflammation, redness and itching.

How to take/use it
Use only by the route and for the duration stated on the label or prescribed by the doctor. If it is a skin preparation, apply only to the affected area as directed, wash hands before and after use, and avoid contact with the eyes and mouth. Do not cover the area tightly unless advised.

Common side effects
Burning, stinging, irritation, dryness or itching at the application site may occur. Prolonged or inappropriate use may cause skin thinning, stretch marks or changes in skin colour.

Precautions
For external use only if stated on the product label. Do not use on the face, skin folds, broken skin or near the eyes unless specifically prescribed. Do not use for longer than advised, and do not self-treat an undiagnosed rash. Stop using it and seek medical advice if the infection worsens, irritation is severe, or there is no improvement.
