What is it used for?
Used for temporary relief of itching and minor skin irritation, such as from insect bites, mild rashes, sunburn, or other minor skin reactions.
How does it work?
Calamine helps soothe and protect irritated skin. Diphenhydramine reduces itching by blocking the action of histamine in the skin.
How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected area as directed on the product label. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other mucous membranes. Do not apply to large areas, broken skin or infected skin unless advised by a healthcare professional.
Common side effects
Mild skin dryness, redness, burning, irritation or rash may occur.
Precautions
Do not swallow or use near the eyes. Stop use if irritation or an allergic reaction develops. Avoid covering the treated area tightly unless advised. Seek medical advice if symptoms are severe, widespread, worsening or do not improve.
