What is it used for?
Used to soothe minor skin irritation and itching, including discomfort from insect bites, mild rashes and sunburn.
How does it work?
Calamine forms a soothing protective layer on the skin and helps reduce irritation and itching. Aloe vera, vitamin E and olive oil may help moisturise and comfort dry or irritated skin.
How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected skin as directed on the product label. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other mucous membranes.
Common side effects
Mild dryness, irritation or redness may occur. Rarely, an allergic skin reaction may develop.
Precautions
Do not use if allergic to any ingredient. Stop use if irritation or a rash worsens. Avoid applying to large areas, deep wounds or infected skin unless advised by a healthcare professional. Seek medical advice if symptoms are severe, persistent or spreading.
