What is it used for?
Used as a nutritional supplement to provide iron, folic acid, vitamin B12, calcium and zinc. It may be used to help prevent or treat iron-deficiency anaemia and related nutritional deficiencies when recommended by a healthcare professional.

How does it work?
It supplies nutrients needed for haemoglobin production and healthy red blood cell formation. Calcium and zinc support normal bone, immune and other body functions.

How to take/use it
Take only as directed on the label or by a healthcare professional. Take with water. If it causes stomach upset, taking it with food may help. Do not take more than recommended, and ask a pharmacist about spacing it from antacids, thyroid medicines or certain antibiotics.

Common side effects
Nausea, stomach discomfort, constipation, diarrhoea and dark-coloured stools may occur.
