Betogen (20 gm ) Betamethasone Dipropionate and Gentamicin Cream by Csc

What is it used for?
Used on inflamed skin conditions where a bacterial infection is present or suspected, such as infected dermatitis or eczema. It helps reduce redness, swelling, itching and bacterial infection.

How does it work?
Betamethasone reduces skin inflammation and itching. Gentamicin is an antibiotic that acts against susceptible bacteria on the skin.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry affected skin exactly as directed by the doctor or pharmacist. Wash hands before and after use, unless the hands are being treated. Do not cover the area with a bandage or dressing unless advised.

Common side effects
Mild burning, stinging, itching, irritation, dryness or redness at the application site. Prolonged or repeated use may cause skin thinning or changes in skin colour.

Precautions
Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas. Do not use on untreated fungal or viral skin infections unless specifically advised. Avoid prolonged use, large amounts or use on large areas without medical advice. Do not use on the face, groin or skin folds unless prescribed. Stop using it and seek medical advice if the skin condition worsens, shows an allergic reaction or does not improve as expected.
