What is it used for?
Used for inflamed skin conditions, such as eczema or dermatitis, when there may also be a bacterial or fungal skin infection. It helps reduce redness, swelling and itching while controlling certain germs on the skin.

How does it work?
Betamethasone is a corticosteroid that reduces skin inflammation and itching. Clioquinol helps control certain bacteria and fungi that can cause or worsen skin infections.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected skin exactly as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. Wash hands before and after applying, unless the hands are being treated. Avoid covering the area with bandages or tight dressings unless specifically advised.

Common side effects
Mild burning, stinging, irritation, dryness or itching may occur. Prolonged or repeated use can cause skin thinning or other skin changes.

Precautions
Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and inside of the nose. Do not use on the face, broken skin, large areas or under occlusive dressings unless advised by a healthcare professional. Avoid prolonged use, especially in children. Seek medical advice if the skin condition worsens, spreads or does not improve, or if a severe rash or allergic reaction develops.
