Beclogen CG (10g) Beclomethasone 0.25% + Clotrimazole 1% + Neomycin 0.5% by Csc

What is it used for?
This medicine is used on the skin to treat fungal skin infections, especially when there is inflammation and a possible secondary bacterial infection. Use it only for the condition diagnosed or advised by a healthcare professional.

How does it work?
Clotrimazole kills or stops the growth of fungi. Beclomethasone reduces redness, swelling and itching, while neomycin helps control susceptible bacterial infections.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer as directed by a healthcare professional. Wash hands before and after use, unless the hands are being treated. Do not cover the area with a tight or airtight dressing unless advised.

Common side effects
Mild burning, stinging, irritation, itching, dryness or redness may occur at the application site. Prolonged or inappropriate use may cause skin thinning or changes in skin colour.

Precautions
Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and inside of the nose. Do not use on large areas, broken skin or for prolonged periods unless prescribed. Stop using it and seek medical advice if the infection worsens, the skin becomes severely irritated, or there is no improvement. Avoid use if allergic to any of its ingredients, including neomycin. Do not use for untreated viral skin infections or ordinary acne unless specifically advised.
