Composition:
Azithromycin 200 mg. The exact dosage form and strength per mL or tablet should be confirmed from the product label.

Uses:
Used to treat certain bacterial infections, including infections of the respiratory tract, throat, ears, skin, and some sexually transmitted infections, when caused by susceptible bacteria.

How to Use:
Take only as prescribed by your doctor. If supplied as a tablet, swallow it whole with water. If supplied as an oral suspension, measure the prescribed dose using the supplied measuring device and shake well before use. Complete the prescribed course even if you feel better. Do not skip doses or stop treatment early unless advised by your doctor.

Precautions & Warnings:
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to azithromycin or other macrolide antibiotics, or if you have liver disease, kidney problems, heart rhythm problems, or a history of QT prolongation. Tell your doctor about all medicines you take, particularly medicines that can affect heart rhythm. Seek medical advice if severe or persistent diarrhoea occurs during or after treatment.

Possible Side Effects:
Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach pain, indigestion, and headache. Rarely, azithromycin may cause liver problems, severe allergic reactions, or abnormal heart rhythms. Seek immediate medical attention for difficulty breathing, fainting, severe skin reactions, yellowing of the skin or eyes, or severe or persistent diarrhoea.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding:
Azithromycin may be used during pregnancy when considered appropriate by a doctor. It generally passes into breast milk in small amounts; consult your doctor before using it while breastfeeding.

Storage:
Store according to the product label in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. If supplied as a suspension, follow the manufacturer's storage instructions after reconstitution. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use after the expiry date.
