What is it used for?
Used for temporary relief of common cold symptoms such as blocked or runny nose, sneezing, fever, headache and body aches.
How does it work?
Phenylephrine helps reduce nasal congestion, while chlorpheniramine (CPM) helps relieve sneezing and a runny nose. Paracetamol helps reduce fever and relieve pain.
How to take/use it
Take by mouth exactly as directed on the label or by a doctor. Measure the drops carefully using the supplied dropper. Do not use with other paracetamol-containing or cold medicines unless advised by a healthcare professional.
Common side effects
Sleepiness, dry mouth, dizziness, nausea, stomach discomfort, headache, or palpitations may occur.
Precautions
May cause drowsiness; avoid driving and alcohol if affected. Seek medical advice before use in high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma, overactive thyroid, difficulty passing urine, liver disease, or when taking sedatives. Do not exceed the recommended amount, as too much paracetamol can seriously damage the liver.
