ATVAS - CV CAPSULES (10S) (10'S) Atorvastatin 10 Mg + Clopidogrel 75 Mg by Alkem1

Composition:
Atorvastatin 10 mg + Clopidogrel 75 mg per tablet.

Uses:
Used to lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in people with certain heart or blood-vessel conditions. Clopidogrel helps prevent harmful blood clots, while atorvastatin lowers LDL (“bad”) cholesterol.

How to Use:
Take only as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, with or without food. Take it at the same time each day. Do not stop clopidogrel without medical advice, particularly if it was prescribed after a coronary stent or heart attack.

Precautions & Warnings:
Inform your doctor if you have a history of bleeding, stomach ulcers, liver disease, kidney disease, or muscle disorders. Tell your doctor about all medicines you take, especially blood thinners, NSAIDs, and medicines that may interact with clopidogrel or atorvastatin. Inform your doctor before surgery or dental procedures. Seek medical advice for unusual or prolonged bleeding, unexplained bruising, severe muscle pain or weakness, or dark urine.

Possible Side Effects:
Common side effects may include bruising, nosebleeds, diarrhoea, indigestion, headache, and muscle aches. Clopidogrel can increase the risk of bleeding. Rarely, atorvastatin can cause serious muscle injury or liver problems. Seek immediate medical attention for severe or unexplained bleeding, black stools, vomiting blood, severe muscle pain or weakness, or yellowing of the skin or eyes.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding:
Atorvastatin should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor immediately if you become pregnant while taking this medicine. Clopidogrel should be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding only when specifically prescribed by a doctor.

Storage:
Store at room temperature in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Important Safety Information:
Take this medicine exactly as prescribed. Do not discontinue clopidogrel without consulting your doctor, as stopping it prematurely may increase the risk of a blood clot, heart attack, or stroke in some patients. Report unusual bleeding or unexplained bruising promptly. Regular cholesterol and liver-function monitoring may be recommended during atorvastatin treatment.
