What is it used for?
This combination is prescribed for selected patients to lower cholesterol and help prevent blood clots that can cause heart attack or stroke.
How does it work?
Rosuvastatin lowers LDL cholesterol. Clopidogrel and aspirin reduce platelet clumping, helping prevent blood clots.
How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by a doctor. Do not stop clopidogrel or aspirin without medical advice.
Common side effects
Stomach discomfort, nausea, easy bruising and bleeding may occur. Muscle pain may also occur.
Precautions
This medicine increases bleeding risk. Inform the doctor about ulcers, bleeding disorders and other medicines, especially blood thinners and painkillers. Seek urgent medical help for severe bleeding, black stools or vomiting blood.
