What is it used for?
This combination is used for temporary relief of common cold symptoms such as cough, blocked or runny nose, sneezing and nasal congestion.

How does it work?
Dextromethorphan helps reduce coughing, phenylephrine relieves nasal blockage, and chlorpheniramine helps reduce allergy-like symptoms such as sneezing and a runny nose.

How to take/use it
Take or use only as directed on the product label or by a healthcare professional. Do not exceed the recommended amount, and avoid taking other cough, cold or decongestant medicines at the same time unless advised.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea, restlessness, palpitations or a temporary increase in blood pressure may occur.

Precautions
May cause drowsiness; avoid driving, alcohol and activities requiring alertness. Seek medical advice before use if there is high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma, prostate or urination problems, or other ongoing medical conditions. Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), or within 14 days of stopping them, unless specifically advised by a healthcare professional. Consult a healthcare professional before use in children, during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
