What is it used for?
Luliconazole 1% cream is used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot and jock itch. It helps clear the infection and relieve related itching, redness and scaling.
How does it work?
It stops fungi from making an essential part of their cell membrane, which prevents their growth and helps eliminate the infection.
How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the clean, dry affected skin exactly as directed by a doctor or on the product label. Wash hands before and after use, unless the hands are being treated. Do not cover the area tightly unless advised.
Common side effects
Mild application-site irritation, redness, itching, burning or stinging may occur.
Precautions
Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and inside of the nose. Do not use if allergic to luliconazole or any ingredient. Seek medical advice if the infection worsens, causes severe irritation, or does not improve as expected. Use on the scalp or nails only if specifically advised by a doctor.
