What is it used for?
Used on the skin to treat scabies and lice infestations. It should be used only when recommended by a doctor or pharmacist.

How does it work?
Gamma benzene hexachloride kills scabies mites and lice by affecting their nervous system. Cetrimide acts as an antiseptic on the skin.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply to the affected skin exactly as directed on the product label or by a doctor. Avoid the eyes, mouth, inside of the nose, and broken or inflamed skin. Wash hands after use unless the hands are being treated. Do not swallow or use more than recommended.

Common side effects
Temporary skin irritation, redness, burning, dryness, itching, or rash may occur.

Precautions
Use with medical advice in children, older adults, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or in people with a history of seizures. Avoid use on large areas, broken skin, or under airtight coverings unless specifically advised. Stop use and seek urgent medical help if severe dizziness, tremors, confusion, or seizures occur. Keep out of reach of children.
