What is it used for?
This combination is used for short-term relief of cough, runny nose, sneezing and blocked nose associated with common cold or allergy-related respiratory symptoms.

How does it work?
Cetirizine reduces allergy symptoms by blocking histamine. Dextromethorphan suppresses the cough reflex, while phenylephrine helps reduce nasal congestion.

How to take/use it
Take by mouth exactly as directed on the product label or by a healthcare professional. Do not take more than recommended or combine it with other cough, cold or allergy medicines unless advised.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, nausea, restlessness, and difficulty sleeping. Phenylephrine may also cause a fast heartbeat or increased blood pressure.

Precautions
Avoid alcohol and be careful driving or operating machinery if drowsy or dizzy.
