What is it used for?
ORS Liquid is used to prevent or treat dehydration caused by diarrhoea, vomiting, or loss of fluids. It replaces water and essential salts lost from the body.

How does it work?
It contains a balanced combination of water, salts, and glucose. These help the intestine absorb fluids and restore the body's fluid and electrolyte balance.

How to take/use it
Take by mouth as directed on the product label or by a healthcare professional. Take small, frequent sips, especially if there is vomiting. Do not dilute or add ingredients unless instructed on the label. Use only within the recommended period after opening.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, or bloating may occur in some people.

Precautions
Seek medical care for severe dehydration, persistent vomiting, blood in the stool, high fever, confusion, very little urine, or worsening diarrhoea. Infants, older adults, and people with kidney disease, heart failure, or conditions requiring salt or fluid restriction should use it only with medical advice. ORS does not replace medical treatment when diarrhoea is severe or prolonged.
