Composition:
Clobetasol Propionate 0.05% w/w + Gentamicin 0.1% w/w + Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline 1% w/w + Ketoconazole 2% w/w + Chlorocresol 0.1% w/w.
Uses:
Used for certain inflammatory skin conditions associated with susceptible bacterial and fungal infections, when specifically prescribed by a doctor. It may help reduce redness, itching, swelling, and infection-related symptoms.
How to Use:
For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer as prescribed by your doctor. Wash your hands before and after application unless the hands are being treated. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes. Do not cover the treated area with a tight or airtight dressing unless directed by your doctor.
Precautions & Warnings:
Use only for the condition and duration prescribed. Clobetasol is a very potent corticosteroid and prolonged or inappropriate use can cause skin thinning, stretch marks, visible blood vessels, and other steroid-related effects. Avoid use on the face, groin, underarms, or large areas unless specifically prescribed. Do not use for untreated viral skin infections such as herpes or chickenpox. Inform your doctor if you have tuberculosis, recurrent infections, or an allergy to any ingredient. Prolonged use of topical antibiotics may contribute to antibiotic resistance.
Possible Side Effects:
May cause burning, itching, redness, dryness, irritation, or worsening of the treated area. Prolonged or excessive use of clobetasol may cause skin thinning, stretch marks, changes in skin colour, increased hair growth, or absorption-related corticosteroid effects. Stop use and seek medical attention for severe irritation, swelling, or signs of a serious allergic reaction.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding:
Use during pregnancy only if specifically prescribed by a doctor. Consult your doctor before using this medicine while breastfeeding. Avoid applying it to the breast or nipple area immediately before breastfeeding.
Storage:
Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep the container tightly closed and out of reach and sight of children.
Important Safety Information:
For external use only. This combination contains a very potent corticosteroid and should not be used routinely for undiagnosed rashes or prolonged periods. Do not use it as a general skin-lightening or cosmetic product. Avoid use on the eyes or near the eyes unless specifically directed. If the condition worsens, spreads, or does not improve as expected, consult a healthcare professional.
