Composition
Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 5 mg + Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2 mg.
Uses
This combination is used for short-term relief of common cold and allergy symptoms, including:
- Blocked or stuffy nose
- Runny nose
- Sneezing
- Nasal congestion
- Watery or itchy eyes associated with allergies
Phenylephrine is a decongestant that reduces swelling in the nasal passages, while chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that reduces allergy symptoms such as sneezing and runny nose.
How to Use
Take exactly as directed by your doctor or according to the product label, with or without food. Swallow with water.
Do not take more than the recommended dose. Because chlorpheniramine can cause drowsiness, avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how the medicine affects you.
Precautions & Warnings
Tell your doctor if you have:

- Diabetes

Phenylephrine can increase blood pressure and heart rate. Chlorpheniramine can cause drowsiness, dizziness, and dry mouth.
