What is it used for?
Used for temporary relief of common cold or allergy-related symptoms such as blocked or stuffy nose, runny nose and sneezing.

How does it work?
Phenylephrine reduces swelling in the nasal passages, helping relieve congestion. Chlorpheniramine blocks histamine, which helps reduce sneezing and a runny nose.

How to take/use it
Take by mouth exactly as directed on the product label or by a doctor. Do not take more than the recommended amount. Avoid combining it with other cold or allergy medicines unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea and headache may occur. Phenylephrine may sometimes cause a fast heartbeat or increased blood pressure.

Precautions
This medicine may cause drowsiness; avoid driving and alcohol until its effects are known. Seek medical advice before use if there is high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma, thyroid disease, diabetes, difficulty urinating or prostate problems. Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) medicines, or within 14 days of stopping them, unless advised by a doctor. Consult a doctor before giving it to children, during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
