What is it used for?
This is a topical antibacterial combination generally used to treat bacterial infections of the eye, when prescribed by a healthcare professional.

How does it work?
Neomycin, bacitracin and sulphacetamide act against susceptible bacteria, helping stop their growth or kill them.

How to take/use it
Use only in the form and amount directed by the doctor or product label. Wash hands before and after use. If it is an eye preparation, do not touch the dropper or tube tip to the eye or other surfaces. Complete the prescribed course unless advised otherwise.

Common side effects
Temporary burning, stinging, irritation, redness or itching at the application site. Allergic reactions such as swelling or rash may occur.

Precautions
Do not use if allergic to any of its ingredients or if a previous antibiotic caused a serious reaction. Use only for the prescribed infection; it does not treat viral or fungal infections. Seek medical advice for worsening symptoms, eye pain, vision changes, marked swelling or lack of improvement. Avoid wearing contact lenses during an eye infection unless advised by a healthcare professional.
