What is it used for?
Povidone iodine 7.5% is an antiseptic used to clean the skin and minor wounds and reduce germs before medical or surgical procedures.

How does it work?
It releases iodine, which kills or inactivates many types of bacteria, viruses and fungi on the skin.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply to the affected skin as directed on the product label or by a healthcare professional. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas, and do not swallow it. Rinse as directed if the product is a scrub preparation.

Common side effects
Temporary skin irritation, redness, itching or dryness may occur. Stop use and seek medical help if severe irritation or an allergic reaction develops.

Precautions
